My Latest DIY Threads

I have fallen in love with my Sewing Machine and I swear everything I see a nice outfit I think "I could make that!" And recently I have started to make a few items for myself, with my first creation being a multi-colored skirt for an event in Richmond, VA...

Saying Things Differently

"I Need To. I Want To. I'm Going To." ...and all yet to happen phrases are being removed from my vocabulary.

After shooting a few shots for the Cutwork. Clothing line, my eye captured the beautiful setting around me at Dusk.

Learning To Sew

A few weeks ago, I attended my very first Sewing Class at a Studio in DC. The class was free and what I was able to take away from it was priceless.

Bringing Back Old Music

This is my beautiful Clarinet that I picked up from the store, the Thift Store might I add. When I saw it there on the shelf, I knew I had to have it!

My Hokie Experience!

This past weekend, TB and I went to a Wedding for one of his College Buddies in (super far) Virginia and on the way back we stopped at his alma mater, Virginia Tech!

New Timepiece!

It's been awhile since I bought a new watch and I've been thinking about getting one for a long time. When I spotted this Rose Gold timepiece in Macy's the other night, I had to have it!

Revamping My Facial Regimen

Over the past few weeks, I've noticed that my facial complexion has been subpar, at least to my standards and has lost its radiance. About a week ago, I had the pleasure of getting my very first facial my Ms. KeetaRay and it was so heavenly (Check her out HERE)! Although she said I have beautiful skin, with no breakouts, I beg to differ. My face is like blackhead central! But her recommendation was to exfoliate my face at least twice a week and always remove my makeup at night, two vital things which I have not been doing regularly. For the past several months, I have been using the Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleanser and Facial Scrub [HERE] and I think my face has become accustom to that regimen. So now it's time to switch it up!

"You Are Black Gold, Baby"

New song "Black Gold" by Ezperanza Spalding Ft. Algebra is simply amazing! I can't tell you how good it is to hear uplifting music! After hearing this song, I can't wait for Esperanza Spalding's forth coming album, Radio Music Society, which is suppose to be released on March 20th!

What do you think of the song?

Soulful & Sincerely Yours

A good friend of mine shared Stacy Barthe's Sincerely Yours album with me a few days ago and let's just say its been on repeat since!

I love her soulful voice and that she sings about situations that pretty much every woman that is/has been in love can relate to! Her album is definitely worth a listen, download, and export to the iPod! You can get a copy of her album from here website, StacyBarthe.com [HERE].
